Monday night last minute decision to go to Beccles fish bar. £10.50 for a large cod but wow it was the biggest large cod I’ve had for years, cooked perfectly to order, not greasy and still red hot when we got home 15 minutes later because it was wrapped in loads of paper. Will see you again

Great fish and chips, I ordered a Skate and chips to come and collect. It was ready pretty much at the time we agreed and saved me waiting in the queue which was on its way to going out the door. (Always a good sign). Don’t often get Skate as I live in the midlands now. It was so tasty and big with plenty of chips too. Skate is my favourite and I will be sure to return when I next visit parents.

Fish and Chip Shop Review This is one of my favorite Fish and Chip shops! I had sausages and chips for dinner today, and they were cooked to perfection. The flavors were spot-on, and everything was fresh and delicious. While finding a parking spot during peak hours can be a bit challenging, I was still able to find parking either opposite the shop or on the main road nearby, which made the visit hassle-free. The staff are polite, friendly, and professional, adding to the overall enjoyable experience. I highly recommend this place to anyone craving great fish and chips or a tasty sausage and chips meal!

I really enjoyed the sausage and chips I had from here. Not only were the chips excellent, full of flavour and cooked to perfection, but the portion size was excellent as well. The sausage did not disappoint either, I believe that they are from the local butcher, which have their own unique flavour. The price for this was bang on too, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend this chip shop and look forward to my next visit.

Possibly the best fish and chips in Norfolk, if not the east of England. Update in August 2025! They seem to be cooking their fish too long, too hard batter, please review this dear chippy!
